Follow the submission process and urge the BLM to keep this wonderful area open. Speaking of the Golden Crack, here is a picture of Steve getting his TJ over the crack. Affected trails include: Gemini Bridges, Rusty Nail, Golden Spike, Gold Bar Rim, Golden Crack, Poison Spider, Monitor & Merimac, Seven Mile Rim, Bull Canyon, White Wash Dunes, 10 Mile Canyon, Bartlett, Tusher, Determination Towers, Mashed Potatoes, Secret Spire, Dubinky, 3D, Dead Cow, The Tubes, and all the atv/single-track surrounding the dunes. The Crack was a little different than we had remembered it it had obviously been a river at some point, because it was totally washed out. Inching along at a slow pace, and didn’t come across any other rigs until Golden Crack. This includes every trail west of Highway 191 and north of town to the interstate. We ate lunch at a high point on the trail and it seemed like we were overlooking the entire state of Utah. I came up to the golden crack on Golden Spike and figured I would give it a try being that I have decent flex on my Jeep. The trio of Poison Spider Mesa, Golden Spike and Gold Bar Rim. Our trails in Moab are being threatened! Southwest Utah Wilderness Alliance is trying to shutdown 330,000 acres of motorized recreation access in the Labyrinth Rims/Gemini Bridge Special Recreation Area outside of Moab. John, Keith and myself this last Saturday ran the 'Trifecta' in Moab.
